What happened

On September 18, 2026, Taboola announced an offer to acquire Dianomi, a London-based native ad network that connects financial and business advertisers with premium publishers. The offer values Dianomi at roughly £19 million to £27 million, including an earnout tied to publisher revenue. Taboola expects the deal to close before the end of 2026, subject to regulatory clearance and a Dianomi shareholder vote (AdExchanger; PPC Land).

Taboola plans to run Dianomi's finance network through Realize, its performance advertising platform. Taboola's CEO said the combination will offer "an even larger, highly curated, trusted network of publishers."

Who Dianomi is

Dianomi places native ads on finance, business and luxury lifestyle publishers. It claims 320+ premium publishers, 8B+ monthly native impressions and audiences with average incomes above $100,000, with segments like ETF Investors, Retirement Planners and Insurance Professionals. Its client logos include Charles Schwab, Bank of America, Fidelity, BlackRock, Invesco, WisdomTree and SmartAsset, and its publishers include Reuters, CNN Business and The Wall Street Journal. It sells on a pay-per-engagement basis, with both managed and self-serve options (Dianomi).

What it likely means for financial advertisers

The deal hasn't closed and Taboola hasn't published integration details, so treat the following as our read, not an announcement:

  • More premium finance inventory inside Realize. Placements next to financial news on top publishers should become buyable alongside Taboola's existing reach, with Realize's targeting and AI bidding.
  • A more competitive finance auction. Dianomi's blue-chip banks and asset managers will be bidding in the same ecosystem as lead-gen brands, newsletter publishers and fintechs.
  • Higher stakes for compliance and tracking. Premium finance placements reward accurate claims, clean disclosures and conversion data that reflects real customers, not raw form fills.
  • A transition period. Dianomi advertisers used to its managed service may face new tools, terms and account structures inside Realize.

What to do now

  1. Get your Taboola foundation right. Clean account structure, working pixel and server-to-server conversions, and creative that already performs on Taboola's finance inventory.
  2. Fix your conversion signal. Realize's AI optimizes toward whatever you send it. Send qualified leads, funded accounts or booked consultations, not every form fill.
  3. Build compliant finance creative now. Pre-approved headlines, advertorials and disclosures mean you can move fast when new placements open.
  4. Audit your publisher data. Know which finance and news sites convert for you today, so you can bid confidently when new supply appears.
  5. If you buy Dianomi today, plan the move. Document what works on Dianomi now (segments, formats, publishers, CPAs) so nothing is lost in the transition.

How we help financial advertisers

Finance is our deepest vertical. We've managed seven-figure native budgets for investor and financial-advisor acquisition on Taboola, with ads on publishers including Yahoo Finance, CNBC and Benzinga. In one recent program we managed $710K+ of Taboola finance spend at about $12.27 per conversion; see what that data taught us. We run the creative, advertorials, compliance-aware copy, Taboola and Teads buying and the server-to-server tracking that tells the algorithm which leads are worth paying for.
